We love St. Patrick's Day! This year we didn't do as much green as we usually do...we were trying to get settled after our weekend away. We haven't done corned beef before...if this isn't what it is supposed to look like...I just hope we don't get sick.

Andrew was in his pajamas most of the day and I felt a bit guilty not dressing him in green. But he saved the day by puking green beans and garden vegetables all over himself. Good job, Andrew!

I can't believe it! Maybe its the luck of the Irish? Brandon ate all of his dinner...even his green beans!!! We didn't have to remind him to eat or take bigger bites so dinner wouldn't last 2 hours...he almost beat Joseph finishing his food! Andrew tried corned beef and loved it too!

Someone left this on our doorstep...Thanks! It will probably become a tradition for us.

My friend, Megan Margaret McNaughton, decendent of the Bowles, Healeys, and O'Briens, who has consumed many pounds of corned beef and cabbage on "the Holiday"...can confirm that it is indead supposed to look that disgusting!

Are those Skittles? What does the note say???
Thanks for a fun day together!
The note was attached to skittles and said, "Follow the rainbow to your Pot of Gold. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!" Then the rainbow/path of construction paper skittles let to the pot. The pot had chocolate coins and butterscotch candies.
Is that a green toothpick in Joseph's mouth? You guys don't miss a beat. I loved the Skittles thing, I am going to have to steal that idea.
you can leave that skittles thing at my door.....hint, hint. The next time you're in town.
