Evan Thiago

You all know that we have a hard time picking names.  That yellow paper is our list of possibilities...we went over it several times on Friday.  We decided that Evan would be a good first name.  And Joseph informed me that since the baby would be half Brazilian...a Portuguese middle name would be acceptable.  Didn't know that serving a mission to Brazil made Joseph a Brazilian...but it was an important time in his life so we went ahead and did it...Thiago (pronounced like Chiago) is little Evan's middle name.  And I like it.  :)
So...I was induced again.  They started me off pretty slow so we had a long uneventful day...until about 2:45.  This was the longest I'd been hooked up to an iv before the baby came and I was so swollen and puffy.  :(  Oh well...all for a good cause.
Blogger decided the order of these pictures....  Baby Evan with Grandparents Johnson.
Can't believe Joseph took this picture.  Can't believe I'm posting it.  Can't believe how AWESOME epidurals are!
I think this picture is hilarious.  "Where the heck am I?  AH!"
Getting ready to go home.  Thanks for the car seat cover, Angela!
Not sure what was going on in this picture.  Maybe we were going over the rules about having a new baby or maybe we were discussing responsibilities of big brothers.
And we're home.

I love that Donald was there for the big brother talking to. :)

I consider myself part Kenyan and Navajo, so I think Joseph can be Brazilian.

We are glad everything went ok with the delivery of Even. He is another handsom boy to join our family. Wish I could hold him and the rest of the gang.:0)
