Warning: Burned Baby Hand

We had a little accident on Thanksgiving morning. Andrew put his hand right onto a hot griddle. After about 3 hours of crying, lots of ice water, and a blessing...he's feeling a bit better although his hand looks worse to me. The color on his hand in this picture is the iodine stuff that we put on him.
He took a long nap and then ate some Thanksgiving dinner.
Hanging out in his chair. He's getting better at keeping it wrapped up. The blisters have been leaking and he gets excited that "juice" comes out of his hand.

Oh man that is awful! Conner did the same thing when he was 1, he put both of his hands on the hot oven door. We ended up taking him in and he had physical therapy every morning for 2 weeks to remove the dead skin. I would watch him really closely for infection, and if it doesn't start looking better take him in! Poor baby!

We hope you are feeling better, Andrew. It hurts Grandma to see your poor little hand. We love you!

Poor guy! That must be pretty painful. That's funny that he think the blister juice is cool. He must be a total boy.
