First Days of School

Brandon started a day before Andrew...so here is their first day together!

A Big Day

 Brandon was baptized and Evan was blessed.  I love my family!!!

Hello again, Tapestry Park.

 The extreme heat made me less homesick as we drove through one of our old neighborhoods.  Shawna cooked an egg (in a pan) on the street and BJ taught Brandon how to use a magnifying glass to start a fire....  :/  I think our short visit was just the closure I needed...I'm grateful for the people and memories from our time in Las Vegas.

Day 3

 Brandon and I were NOT as happy and calm looking as Andrew and Joseph on Tower of Terror.

 Every time the Ferris wheel cage with Minnie Mouse on the side would swing into view Hailey would scream, "MINNIE!"

Day 2...the Beach

 Our beach day was pretty chilly.  Evan was happy to hang out in his little tent with the cooler, blankets, and towels.

 Some loved the water...some preferred the sand.

Day 1 AND Andrew's Birthday

 Everybody rested and matching and ready to hit the park!

 Hailey was SO excited on the hotel shuttle to Disneyland.  She kept bouncing her legs around and saying how much fun she was having.  I asked what was so fun...she said...we don't have to buckle up!!!

 Happy 6th Birthday, Andrew!!!  Because of his Happy Birthday button...all of the workers (and some strangers) wished him a Happy Birthday all day long.

We made it back to the hotel and plopped them on the bed for one last picture.

30th

 Read a book in bed for awhile then headed down to Mike and Angela's for a barbeque and cake.  It was perfect to hang out and relax.  Thanks, Haroldsens!

 Then all the way to Salt Lake for water fountain fun and chalk art with Dave and Becky and family.  (We met them in Florida 8 years ago).

 Ended the day in Mom and Dad's backyard watching fireworks.  Perfect weather, great company, happy birthday!
